While submissions are always open, this is a quarterly magazine with issues published every fall, winter, spring, and summer. Submissions for the inaugural issue, fall, will close on October 1. Any submissions after that will automatically be considered for the next issue, winter.
This magazine only considers previously unpublished works.
Simultaneous submissions are fine, as long as you withdraw your submission here if your piece(s) is accepted elsewhere.
Genres: poetry, prose
poetry: 1-3 poems, no longer than 100 lines each
prose: short stories and flash fiction, no more than 1500 words, and only 1 piece per submission
Please use a legible 12 pt. font, preferably Times New Roman or EB Garamond, attach all submissions in one PDF document, and include a short third-person bio in the body of the email.
This magazine reserves First Serial Rights, which means that all rights revert back to the author upon publication. If you submit your work elsewhere, please credit this as its first home.
ZERO tolerance for racism, misogyny, homophobia, or bigotry of any kind. Any submissions received containing hate such as that will be immediately rejected and the submitter will be banned from any future submissions.
